Portfolio of Jordan W. Melcher

The other night I was on Facebook and accidetly clicked on a comment that led to a eventual infection of my computer.

It is a new virus that has leaked out this year and without being prepared my computer has been hit hard.

I am taking the time now to save my data (pictures,animations etc) and will be reinstalling EVERYTHING back on again after a clean wipe of the data.

Ha, well I am very busy with school and trying to keep everything in order before this semester flies by too.

I am working on another animation for my 2010 portfolio.
I am working on amazing stuff in Drawing class.
Annnnnnnnd I am drawing cartoons for the NIACC Logos paper!

I will be updating the Still Art pages and Animation pages soon.
For now I am busy with homework :)

Ah yes, it's 2010!
How are you going to pronounce it?

My first semester in college went well and 2009 for my family and I ended great. It's late to mention, but the Market Place that was held at NIACC back in November went exceedingly well. It was the first time I EVER sold my work on a booth.
Normally it's done online or just in person.

I am very thankful to those who stopped by and said "hey" and bought some of my pieces. I even got a few artist trading cards going through!

I will posts pictures in my next blog when I can.
For now, I leave you with my updated website!

Ha, I've been so busy I forgot to talk about my booth at the NIACC Market Place.

It was great. Awesome. Wonderful.

I am very busy now focusing on my school work and studies now that the art work is done. I will post a full blog (with pictures :) ) and tell what all went down.

Now, I am preparing for a trip to see Twilight: New Moon and probably have a good laugh or two. Sparkles? You kidding me?

I got a new sketchbook the other day to get ready for the upcoming Market Place.

Made some quick sketches today before class. So excited for the 18th. Not excited I will be in class and miss tonights new episode of Clone Wars. Anyway...

Ah, November.
It brings the nice refreshing sense that I have A LOT of work ahead of me. I'm working hard on my classes along with some artwork that I can hopefully display for sale and fun at a coming up market.

Who knows, might work, might not, but at least I'll have the work done for future use :)

The above sketch is something I made while doing laundry this evening. It was sketched in pencil then inked on a nice smooth piece of bristol board.


Anyway, I'll still be quite busy with school here and there, but I am working on an animation to music my sister wrote and played. Already made some rough sketches for characters and such and started on a storyline.
