I've made it through pretty much the first week of my second year of college. I have some pretty awesome classes (especially the art ones) and am looking forward to the results.

Below are a bunch of sketches combined together from 2008 and 2009 and a few doodles I made for comic ideas last week, but you can view it in better quality in the Sketches page. Bl;ah blah blah.

I spent the entire summer as a camp counselor and enjoyed every single minute of it. Now that I am nice and tan I am ready to start school and update my portfolio with more art and ramblings of my every day life.

I feel completely new.....and old. But yesterday was my birthday and it was nice. I finished some paintings for my physical portfolio and made plans to see some people later in the week.

In OTHER AWESOME NEWS: My good friends from Southern Iowa just gave birth to their first son! ON MY BIRTHDAY! Now it is a day I will not forget! It was a crazy night of back and forth calling, but all is well and the new mommy and daddy are very tired. Prayers and congrats to Jess and Dan!!!

School ends this week and I hop on the plane for New York on Friday!

TUTORIAL-GOODNESS
Before my summer job starts and I am dragged away from the computer for the WHOLE summer, I will be uploading
quick little tutorials I did as an instructor at the county extension (where I live) for people interested
in doing quick animation and doodling.

WORK-SCHEDULE
I am currently trying to figure my schedule out and trying to make room for friends. The problem is that I am being offered amazing stuff, but the fact that I miss out on some great opportunities to catch up with friends and family. I will not stress over it though as I am sure things will work out great.

MAY-NEW YORK TRIP
I will be leaving for New York for a shopping spree with some family later in May, so if you NY peeps want to meet up for a minute or two let me know! I will be around the big Toys R Us and Starbucks the most.

In case you didn't know I had knee surgery last Monday to remove more torn cartilage from a wreslting injury I had back in the 8th grade.

I made a few pieces of art while I was recovering during my spring break, but I have some school work to catch up on. I also removed my Audio page from the site since it was getting low traffic and I have a better time just using it in my animations. If you are interested in having a copy of my tunes feel free to contact me for the music.

So I have finally wiped out my computer's old memory and loaded all of my software back on. It's a bummer, but oh well.
That virus was a complete nuisance. Only problem now is the deletion of a lot of my old files including:

Animation I was working on.
All of my iPod songs.
A few folders of photo albums.
And about 5 work in progress digital paintings.

But the computer runs much faster and am able to get programs loaded much faster. Second semester is almost ending here at NIACC too soon! I have way too much work to get done!

P.s. I Totally recommend purchasing No More Heroes 2 for your Wii. I love this series. Best. Wii. Game. Ever. I'm trying to beat the last boss, but it is WAY TOO HARD! AGH!

The other night I was on Facebook and accidetly clicked on a comment that led to a eventual infection of my computer.

It is a new virus that has leaked out this year and without being prepared my computer has been hit hard.

I am taking the time now to save my data (pictures,animations etc) and will be reinstalling EVERYTHING back on again after a clean wipe of the data.
